HOW TO PERFORM TO HARD RESET BLACKBERRY


How to perform a HARD RESET on Blackberry or RIM Device

1. Remove the Battery cover.
2. Remove and reinsert the Blackberry battery to reset the Blackberry .
3. Replace the battery cover.



Reason to Perform a HARD RESET  
1. Handheld displays an X beside the coverage indicator.
2. Handheld displays GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication) or lower case gprs(Genral Packet Radio Services) as the network status Indicator.
3. User is unable to send and receive message on the handheld.
4. User receives an error code on the handheld.
5. Applications do not appear to be functioning correctly.
6. Desktop Manager is stuck at “WORKING” status when the handheld is connected
7. Bluetooth is not detected
8. Handheld display is hard to read. (The display shown lines obscuring text.)
9. Keypad is not functioning correctly (keys do not work,the trackwheel is not functioning correctly or handheld does not turn ON.
